Wow. I have never seen asnything like this. My mom quilted for years before she died, but never anything this non-traditional. It's so not-quilt-like, which is great!

Diane, Wow! Your "Birds" of Paradise quilt is take my breath away beautiful! Through your fabric choices, you've managed to create a watercolor look! The quilting outlines of the leaves in the background is so clever! The colors make an eye catching combination. The mottled look on the leaves is amazing! Love the dark line cleverly quilted in for the left leaf's center line. Did you dye your own fabric? Well, all I can say is that I am so proud to know you!
